Living Proof of a Loving God to an Ever-Changing World

The Garden
Every Sunday, excluding the first Sunday of the month, while the adults are digesting the message of the sermon, the children of The Garden are learning about God on their level! Kids ages 2 to 4 are invited to walk through The Garden and experience the reality of God through stories, music, crafts, and so much more. God becomes real to children as they learn Bible stories, and they experience God’s love through those who share with them during their own special time! The children meet in the sanctuary after Sunday School to be with their parents for the first part of the adult worship service and are then dismissed for their service. So, parents, you don’t have to worry about keeping your children occupied during “adult church”. God’s Garden is a safe and friendly place where children can grow in their understanding about God and His Word.

Junior Church
While the adults are learning more about God from His Word, the kids of Junior Church are experiencing worship on their own level of understanding. Intended for children ages 5 to 5th grade, Junior Church offers kids the opportunity to get hands-on experience in knowing more about the God Who made them and loves them. The fuller purpose of church becomes more real as children share in a worship time geared just for them. Biblical truths are taught and reinforced, and practical applications of the teachings of the Bible come to life as they learn how to apply God’s Word to their own lives. Church is never boring at Junior Church. Come and check it out!

Kids’ Carnival & Kids’ Rally
Each year, we have two special events which focus solely on the kids of the church. After the kids return to school in August, we host a carnival at the church, where there are games, food, and prizes. Kids of all ages are invited to the event. And, at the end of August, we have a special rally just for the kids during the Sunday morning worship service. Past rallies have featured Keith Conner of K.C. and the Gloworms, as well as John Louis the Illusionist, who brings the gospel message alive through illusions.

Here at Chapel Pike, the kids have their very own services. On Sundays, the kids meet in the Fellowship Hall for their own worship, games, crafts, and lessons. On Wednesdays, kids get to look forward to outdoor activities, crafts, and lessons that engage them on their level.
